Justice: Killers Of Prof Ilemobade Handed Death Sentence

Two domestic staff members of late Prof Albert Ilemobade a former Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akiure (FUTA), have been sentenced to death by an Ondo state High Court in Akure.

The two killers,  Olayemi Bamitale, a former driver, and Ita Enang, a night guard, confessed to killing the former university don in cold-blood at his private residence in Ijapo Estate, Akure, the Ondo state capital.

According to Sahara Reporters, Justice Olamide Williams sentenced the two staff members to death after finding them guilty of murdering their boss.

It would be recalled that the former VC who headed FUTA from 1987 t0 1995 was abducted along with his guard in his home. The rector’s body was later found in his own compound at ilaje street, at an abandoned store outside the main building.
